Hi Group.. I have one of the original Brewtus, chugging along after 10-ish years of continuous power and use.
As an aside, I have replaced the vib pump once, added the PID controller (which totally eliminated the overtemp conditions that I would get on the brew boiler every couple weeks... great upgrade), replaced the power switch that pretty much disintegrated with some pyrotechnics, and miscellaneous others over the years. The problem I am having now is that it seems that I get a LOT of water coming out the wand with the steam... much more than normal. - Running the water in the steam tank down a bit by withdrawing ~150 ml from the hot water dispenser before steaming helps - Running the steam a long time helps eventually, but I think I am just removing a bunch of water from the steam boiler as above - If I EMPTY the steam boiler and allow it fill, it takes quite a bit of water and I suspect the steam boiler is near full at its resting level - I have replaced the water level sensor on the steam boiler and moved it up and down with seemingly no effect - I have adjusted the steam pressure up and down with no effect Any thoughts? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
