Eric, search the archives for my posts on tips. I can reply more later, but there is a ton of info there.
In short, there are three main possibilities. The original Brewt uses a female thread, and can be fitted with an adapter from Chris that takes it to a larger male thread and opens up many more possible tips. The foam knife uses an arm with a male thread also, but different then the adapter so you have to purchase that one to use the foam knife on the brewt. Foam knife screws on to my new ECM directly though. Have a look and you'll find many tests, etc. on various tips.
