I think I am 99% there. I sealed the threads and the two fittings that were leaking before no longer leak. But there is a new tiny leak between the solenoid valve and part #6, which I had taped but I guess not enough. Here is a picture: you can see the drop of water sitting on the top of the valve. Curiously, it does not seem to get bigger, and I am able to pull shots just fine.
Do you think this will be OK or do I need to get in there and fix it? Seal the threads and I think you'll fix the problem. b Sent from my iPhone On Jul 2, 2017, at 08:42, Howard Griffin <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: Here is where the leaks seem to be coming from: For the top fitting in the picture the drop emerges from between the jam bolt and the silver T fitting. For the bottom fitting the drop emerges from between the jam bolt and the brass fitting (not the silver T fitting). I don’t know if it’s pipe thread, gaskets or sealing surfaces. There aren’t any gaskets at those fittings and I did not put any sealant or PTFE tape there. <image002.png> <image004.png><image005.jpg> From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ira Sent: Saturday, July 01, 2017 6:59 PM To: Howard Griffin <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > Subject: Re: Leaking fittings after replacing solenoid valve :-( Hello Howard, Saturday, July 1, 2017, 3:18:59 PM, you wrote: Here is a picture—the leaking is occurring where the blue arrowas are pointing.
