Greetings fellow Brewtus people.

I am having mysterious leaking problem I'm hoping this group can shed some
light on. I noticed met Brewtus was leaking 'a lot of water'. Some further
symptoms is that the brew pressure dropped from my normal 8 bar to 6 bar. Also,
it sounded like there was a faint hissing from the group head. I took the cover
off and looked very carefully for days to try and locate the source of the
leak. No luck, It did not seem to be coming from 'inside the unit.' I removed
the grate and the drip tray and it seemed like the water was leaking at the
bottom of the drop tray, flowing into the main part of the unit and out the
bottom.

The unit 'burps' quite frequently as it demands water from all that leaking

Ok...I though this might be due to bad gaskets in the E61. That had been
neglected badly. I have not changed the E61 gaskets and washers since I bought
the unit in January of 2012 (It's now Sept 2017). I was right. The gaskets were
in terrible shape and one, the one under the mushroom, was crumbled and in
several pieces.

I replaced all those, and finally got the mushroom threaded on again (Thanks
bmac). However, this has made no difference. The hissing is still there, it
still leaks, the brew pressure is still at 6 bar. I thought for sure this would
cure my ails but to no avail.

Any suggestions from you?
