One thing I didn't know before buying my first machine was that you WILL end up working on it some on your own at some point. These things cost a fortune to ship and it's very hard to find good people locally, no matter where you are.
I bought a new Brewtus IV rotary and have had to deal with small steam leaks and other minor issues within a year. No machine will run without maintenance for very long so be prepared. I upgraded from a Silvia with PID. The Brewtus is a better machine by a good bit. Go for it but be prepared to do some work at some point. Probably sooner rather than later with an older machine. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
