Do you have a PID? 

> My Brewtus II suddenly stopped heating up the brew boiler..

I opened it up and found that the left most wire going into the PID and 
leading to the brew boiler had slipped out of the PID.
Pushed it back in and the brew boiler heated up.

Important hints: 
take a photo of where each wire goes into the PID before you touch 
anything. Another wire might fall out.
Note that there are set screws above where the wires go into the PID\.
Turn the set screw clockwise to raise a tiny metal bar and lock the wire to 
the contact at the top of the PID slot where the wire goes.
