Rizwa,
I live in Manhattan and have a Brewtus II that I bought in Oct 2007. Almost
13 years old.
The water here is good and produces minimal scale.
I worry about the fact that I have never descaled it. But, it still works
well.
At one point I opened up the brew head and replaced all the springs and
valve things using a kit from WLL. There may have been other problems
inside, but I saw very little scale.

I used a 12" adjustable wrench to open the E61 brew head. Just put some
tape on it to prevent scratching.
I lubed a little when I replaced parts. A aged gasket was my problem.
I do not think it needs to be opened and lubed on a regular basis.
