Hello everyone,

Have a Brewtus Expobar IV-R that I bought from Whole Latte Love, it's about
12 or 13 years old. Several typical parts replaced (PID, vacuum OPV, etc.).
About a year ago after a move, the steam boiler would intermittently stop
working. At first it would just turn off, then randomly turn back on after
several days OR after turning the machine off for several days and then
turning it back on. Lately however the steam boiler does not turn on at all
after several days no matter what (and the light is not on). I have done
the following:

   -

   Reset the limit switch
   -

   Replaced the limit switch
   -

Tried following the WLL electric troubleshooting steps with a
multimeter, almost zapped myself and blew a circuit, decided to leave
   electrical to the pros
   -

Brought it to an espresso repair shop. Now here's the weird part. They
did the same troubleshooting as WLL, they were able to have the boiler
working FINE. Took it home, after several days the boiler stopped working.
Brought it BACK to the shop, they looked at it, it works fine there, they
even kept it plugged in for several days and even showed me the steam
boiler was working and fully stable. Got home, steam works for a day then
   dies.

Any suggestions? I'm wondering if it's something to do with the different
voltages in my house (it's extremely old) vs the repair shop? Or is
something else?

Unfortunately I'm up in Canada with travel restrictions or I would have
brought it back to WLL myself by now.
