Thanks Bruce! This is interesting- I thought that item in the picture was a 'high limit' switch not a 'thermostat'. I have tried resetting it multiple times however I can't remember if I've replaced it entirely. I do believe I ordered a spare one; I can try to swap and see if the steam boiler gets power at all if the light comes on before ordering a new one.
