No, the picture of the Face was a real picture, taken by one of
the Viking orbiters. At the exact moment the picture was taken,
with the right lighting and view angle, that particular surface
feature looked like a face. When another Mars orbiter took a
photo of the "Face" a few years ago, it didn't look anything
like a face. The "Face" was a cool coincidence and a cool
picture that probably won't ever be repeated.
