Lots of fun to watch, too - perhaps moreso for those of us stuck with
the results but who can't participate. :)
A co-worker said that apparently there was an old law in Florida
allowing you to change your vote if you swore to it being a mistake
before a judge. Can anyone confirm/deny?
The mind boggles - what if the Nader supporters (who one would presume
by now must be considering cutting their losses) were given the choice
to change their minds (for the small price of perjury - albeit
unprovable)? There were more than enough Nader votes in Florida to tip
the balance.

Actually, I don't think Nader was the spoiler that people thought/think he
is. Upon analysis, and reviewal of some exit polls, it seems that in
Florida, Nader supporters would have split almost down the middle, with half
of the ones that would vote voting for Gore and the other half voting for
Bush. The majority of Nader supporters did favor Gore, but keep in mind as
well, come election day ~50% of Nader's suporters switched camps to Al Gore,
so the remaining Nader votes split almost straight down the middle.
