Ah, in physics at least, we have to become accustom to using lotsa different
systems of units. Its actually important to teach people how to translate
from one system of units to another, and to understand that they are
arbitrary. Imperial units are no worse than inconvenient.
Also, the metric system has its own problems. It uses kilograms as a unit
of weight, when we all know that the proper unit of weight is Newtons.

Alberto, I think you are trying to be funny, but I'm not sure. I guess the
use of the Impereal system is why the US is so far behind the rest of the
world in science and technology. :-)
Actually, working internationally in the oil patch, I have to work with
mixed metric and Imperial units. Its not that hard, you just have to keep
the translation factors in your head.
