Then they'll still interrupt their shows every ten minutes for commercials: 
after all, the computers, the software and the people using that hardware 
and software still need to be paid.

And even if hardware, software and people didn't need to be paid, the media 
companies would still manage to find an excuse to annoy us with 
commercials.   :(
