At least the character appeared in one of the books.  :)  (I had to look
it up in my Star Trek Encyclopedia, and I remembered reading a book with
that character in college.  I think I read somewhere between 20 and 30 of
those books one year, borrowing them from friends.  It was a socialization
thing.)  I can't remember which book it was now, and I don't think it's
any one of the 7 that I picked up used in the first 4 years of
marriage....
