I'm actually not particularly indignant.  But I think I do have a right to
be, if I were.  Brits _don't_ have to put up with people endlessly telling
them how they in particular are all rude all of the time.  With a very
strong contrast with the implicit virtuousness of the teller, of
course.  The irony inherent in that is so immense, that, well, even a
European should be able to appreciate it.  :-)
