Hey all. I'd just like to point out that the higher murder rate in the
US is not just due to guns. Even if you discounted all the murders
commited with firearms, we'd still have a higher murder rate than the
UK.
It is probably true that confiscation of firearms would reduce the
murder rate to some degree. But it would not reduce the murder rate to
European levels. For that, we'd need some other solution.
