Well, how about being a little less arrogant and a little humbler about it?
Not that I mean to accuse you of that, John, but so many of your countrymen
exhibit that.  Personally I find that the least attractive point about
Americans.  We *know* we have much to be thankful to the American people
for - but when you walk around crowing about 'aren't we great' and almost
demanding hommage, it's rather hard to take.
