I don't think he prays, per se.  He has major problems
with organized religion, and sees the Bible as tainted
by 2000 years of Catholic politics.  He does have
Faith, perhaps in a slightly agnostic way.  I'd say he
more like communes, and it's something done while
walking in the forest around where he spent summers as
a boy.

Please, please pleaaaaase no one take offense at this,
it's simply my father's views as I understand them. 
I'm only answering Ronn's question.
