Oh, I know that - you even specified it in today's post I was responding to,
and I know you guys well enough to know your thoughts - what I was saying was
that it took some time (well, quite a number of posts) to clarify the
distinction, and the argument/debate tended to drag down until we cleared that
up - it seemed the "foreign" members were saying the US shouldn't be arrogant
and some others were responding that they should be proud, so we were each
missing the others point. As I said, I thought that had been cleared up, but it
did contribute to the debate more than any pervasive Anti-Americanism, IMHO.

BTW John, you sure do research your points - you perused your responses and
counted the references? - you must just about have this thread memorised by
