How can you even discuss Brin without mentioning politics?
I have an archive of every single post Dr. Brin has made to the List since
my arrival. Would you care to wager what percentage of those posts
concerned "politics", and which of those did not?
When Brin writes a book like, oh, _The Transparent Society_, then what does
the List do?
Of course, you might point out that Dr. Brin hisself is no longer on this
List - to which, of course, I would point out that Dr. Brin is no longer
here thanks to a discussion about one of his novels.
