But that's what bugs me, in fact.  Suppose, hypothetically, I had left the
list very upset at something you had said, and then e-mailed John
explaining my reasons for it.  If he had then posted a message to the list
criticizing you for "driving me off the list" I would have come _back on_
to take him to task for doing that.  It really doesn't matter to me
whether someone agrees with me or not when it concerns their right to
speak in a public forum.  I'm a conservative - in theory I'm supposed to
be _less_ committed to diversity and freedom of speech than all y'all
people of the left.  So how come I'm the one who's saying that?  That's
what I don't get, and doesn't seem fair to me.
