I thought that the electoral college should be dumped
immediately too, until someone gave me this little gem
of info:
if we went to purely a popular vote system, all the
candidates would do is pander to the 4 biggest states
(ca, ny, fl, and tx), and leave the rest of us to rot.
*everyone* was predicting that this election was going
to be so close that the losers were going to scream
for the electoral college's collective head.
