Long term goals? Which would those be? Different goals, maybe, but
neither party looks much beyond the 2-4 spin cycle as far as I can see.

Bush isn't stupid at all, but he's what I'd call a shrewd fool. He knows
exactly how to get what he wants, but he doesn't know what's worth
wanting. IMO, of course.
