What in the heck brought that on? No one's said anything along those lines
at all. Yes, inner city schools do have some trouble getting the needed
funding at times, and require state or federal assistance, but that is a
function of those self same property taxes.
If you want to argue about the properness of that, fine. There is probably
*not* enough "profit-sharing" in that regard. But I don't think it's fair
to make a statement like "How do you handle it in the US," indicating that
you *DON'T* know the facts, and then follow it up with flame-bait like "Tell
those kids: 'Tough luck...'".
