If we're comparing the age and slow clock speed of our machines, then I
have to chip in: Amiga 1200 (AmigaOS3.9, Opus 5.82), 25MHz 68040,
Picasso IV graphics card (running in 1152x900x24), 34Mb RAM, 10Gb
harddisk. My friends all think I should get an x86 PC (running Linux,
probably) but my Amiga does what I need, does it well, is highly
customised and very flexible and I love it, so why should I migrate to
some other platform? (It amuses me no end that my ancient 25MHz machine
is more responsive than my sister's modern PC running Windows 98.)
