the phone too) Is about Bjorn Lomborg. My personal position remains that
he is selling science out to money interests - the IMF and World Bank are
NOT scientific organizations - and that face it BITE THE BULLET, the world
will have to endure economic pain to save resources and the planet for
future generations. Tough shit but so there JDG. I will not post to ANY
more threads about this guy. I think he is a traitor. I think he is
horriubly dangerous with this be-happy attitude and as for the "global
warming is staving off an ice age" claims....what's the name of that
Seattle scientist who wrote a cover story in Atlantic MOnthly on the
evidence climate shifts can happen almost overnight and we a re threatened
by an ice age FAR too great to stop with a little coal burning? or that
melted ice caps could (paradoxically) bring on a severe ice age early by
disrupting ocean currents??? Anyone who thinks global warming is a "good
thing" is really, really dangerous.
