He extrapolated a worst case scenario, and he had the
courage to say what he thought even though it wasn't
nice and wouldn't be popular.  He thought that
bringing it out in the open would bring a net good
effect.  

Jump in here anytime, Darryl, i'm not that good of a
mind reader anymore.  =)

And when one person makes a claim about the future, i
think we can safely assume that it is their opinion
without them needlessly making a caveat every single
time.  I'm about ready to have my Grandma teach me
Dutch to see just what the big deal is about
translation.
