I didn't know that.  Thanks.  I've learned something about Portuguese!

BTW, I looked in my dictionary, and it's not the OED or anything, but
everything beginning with what sounds like "cian" begins "cyan".  In
fact, the only word in my dictionary beginning "cia" was "ciao", which
is Italian, and so not following whatever rule it would be in English.

Of course, YKMV.
