<<I really don't understand the policy Israel is currently enacting to control the violence - how does bombing a police station help the Palestinians control terrorism?>>
It does not. It helps Israelis to control Palestinian terrorism
<<How does killing their leadership help the Palestinians to exert leadership over dissident factions?>>
Hoping against all hope that new leadership would not support terrorist acts?
<<How does continuing to use excessive force against an angry people engender anything other than more hatred and fear, leading to further acts of violence against the only targets they can attack and
with the only means at their disposal?>>
I thought about asking you to define "excessive", but then - the simple answer is - "because it helps". The simple fact is - intifada started after Israel run from Lebanon and Palestinians saw, that Israeli Army is not as strong as they used to think it to be.>>
<<Could somebody explain it to me? Seriously, if I'm missing something, I would very much like to be informed..>>
You using logic. There is nothing logical in religious war. As I see it - Palestinians want to destroy my country. And my government is busy trying to save Palestinian lives instead of thinking of it's people first. Two more Israelis murdered last night.
