How? How does bombing Palestinian targets help control Palestinian
terrorism? Are you really so naive as to think that Israel can *bomb* the
Palestinians into submission? This kind of behaviour will only lead to more
attacks: Palestinians will retaliate for this bombing, Israel will respond
to the retaliation with yet another strike, which will lead to yet another
retaliation, etcetera.

And you really believe that there will be no retaliation when Israel kills
Palestinian leaders? No matter who you put in charge, there will always be
factions that disagree with your choice, and will continue to attack Israel.

Let's see. The peace process is still going nowhere. Palestinians still
attack Israeli targets, and Israel still attacks Palestinian targets. It
seems like hardly a week goes by that we do not hear of more bombings and
killings. Now, how exactly does Israel's excessive violence help anything?
The only thing it is "helpful" with is giving Israel a bad reputation for
being violent and agressive.

Check your history books, Ilana. Excessive violence has never been a
successful way of getting what you want.

AFAIK, the Intifadah started because the Palestinians were sick and tired of
being oppressed by Israel, and living in an area that is under Israeli
occupation.

At least *you* have a country. The Palestinians want to have their own
country too (just like your people did), but your country denies them the
right to have their own country.

Correct me if I am wrong, but last I heard, many Palestinian lives were
*lost* due to Israeli agression, not *saved* by it. So, how is Israel's
agression towards Palestinians saving Palestinian lives? How is bombing
Palestinian police stations saving Palestinian lives?

And how many Palestinians have been killed by Israel since the State of
Israel was founded?
