Falwell has been doing disservices to everyone for years, this is just
the ugliest one I know of so far. I haven't taken him seriously for a
number of years now, personally. This just gives me more reason to
dislike what he does in the name of Christianity -- one in a line of
uncharitable deeds.

Well, Robertson has ties to Fox. You know the Fox Family Channel? It
wasn't originally owned by Fox; before Fox acquired it, it was owned by
Robertson.

And Falwell has ties to Robertson, hence Falwell ends up on Fox. One
more reason not to like Fox's news group.

There will be some who will be loyal to him no matter what, but I'm
hoping that they become a smaller and smaller group. I don't tend to
spend much time with people who consider him to be a leader, though,
having become thoroughly disgusted with him when I was in high school
and not given any reason to respect him again.
