A friend of mine who lives near the glide path for St. Louis's Lambert
Airport told me that there didn't seem to be any planes taking off or
landing during Monday night's Cardinal game at Busch Stadium. The game
ended at around 9:30 and the next time he heard a plane was about 10:10 p.m.
Perhaps they just didn't want people to get spooked during the game. While
Busch isn't near the airport, planes circling the airport for a landing do
pass fairly near the stadium.
This hasn't been reported in any of the news media that I've heard local or
otherwise.
I don't know about last night's game, though.
