Not you specifically, but in general, yes. Do you deny that there is a
certain arrogance and sense of entitlement that comes with being a Yankee
fan? If you read Marvin's message about Cowboy fans, would you say it's the
same attitude, oftentimes?

>Lets get things straight. I inherited my Yankee fandom memetically

I'm sure you have. That's where some folks get their loyalties. But would
you agree there's plenty of front-runner Yankee fans as well?

term Yankee says it all - we are america).

Case in point. :)

> For the most part Yankee fans are pretty civil. If you listent to >WFAN
you will have to admit it the METS fans who are crazy. Piazza >has a bad

I agree to that. There's some serious envy on Mets fans' part.

professionals. No temper tantrums.

If you set aside Paul O'Neill, who can act like a baby when he strikes out,
and Roger Clemes, who's a mental case, you are correct. But then, my theory
was that there's nothing wrong with the Yankees, but with their fans.

They're a good team, no question. And I will say this: There haven't been
any riots over winning a championship in NYC these past few years unlike in
other cities, which I think surprised a lot of people. Doesn't mean I have
to like them. :-)
