Actually, I read something in the sports section of my paper earlier
this week that said that today's ballplayers *are* better, because
they're taking much better care of themselves than ballplayers did just
a couple of decades ago. Not to say that the old ballplayers blew,
exactly, but today's players are, on average, better than the ones
awhile back for this reason.
