No, I do not suggest that Israel winning is wrong, I said that keeping other countries' territories occupied and its inhabitants oppressed is wrong. >And *You* wonder why people call you anti-semitic? I *know* why some people call me anti-Semitic. It is because those people consider any and all criticism of Israeli politics to equal hatred of Jews, and thus think it is justified to call anyone who criticises Israel anti-Semitic. However, Jews and Arabs are both Semitic, but those same people who call me anti-Semitic whine that I seem to defend anything that Arabs do without questioning. So according to those same people, I must be anti-Semitic and pro-Semitic at the same time. Anyone notice the major flaw in their argument? BTW, my Concise Oxford Dictionary defines an anti-Semite as "a person hostile to or prejudiced against Jews". I challenge you to find a post in which I say I have anything against Jews. Keep in mind that criticising a regime's politics is not the same as hating someone because of his or her religion. Saying "you dislike Israel's politics therefore you must hate Jews" is just as much crap as saying "you dislike America's foreign policy therefore you must hate Christians". > > I note that you accused me of "gross misinterpretation of history" in > > your post, but did not bother to answer the question about the possible > > future history of a Palestinian state attacking its neighbours. > >All of which is less important than your revising of history. Ah, so now I am a revisionist as well. I suppose that in the next few days you will also find a way to twist my words in such a way that you will be able to call me a Holocaust-denier. :-( Jeroen _________________________________________________________________________ Wonderful World of Brin-L Website: http://www.Brin-L.com Tom's Photo Gallery: http://tom.vanbaardwijk.com
