Well, I tried that (which is more complicated than it sounds because the 
printer cable strings through a scanner and Zip drive), turned the printer 
off, then back on, and it seems to be working.  Thanks!  (Especially since 
I need to print out the syllabus before class meets in about 4 hours.)
