I've had that problem on my Mac at work when the hard drive gets really really full, or when it needs to be defragmented. On a PC, the only excuse for that to happen is usually the cable being loose, or if you tried to send a postscript job to a non-postscript printer. (I have an Epson Stylus at home along with an HP Laserjet 1100, and sending a job to the wrong printer will do that! Jon
