Kick it really hard; curse at it; cry; weep; plead; ask your teenage son to fix it; 
ask your preteen daughter to try to fix it. Don't ask your IT guy to try to fix it, he 
is exhausted from spending the weekend trying to fix the results of the latest 
software upgrade on Powerscribe (the radiology department's direct voice to text 
transcription software). When all else fails drag out an old IBM electric typwriter or 
a pen and paper.
