Who ever said I _always_ drive like a snail? I've done a lot of driving abroad.
And whenever possible I max it. I love the German autobahn. But there it is
legal to drive fast (very fast indeed). And in Brussels it is absolutely normal
to drive twice the speed limit. Doing something else would be suicide. I adjust
my driving to the local standard.

Curious you should mention that. I was told an anecdote by someone from 'Budget'
that lots of Eurotouring Americans hire a fast car in Munich to experience the
German autobahn and drive it to Flensburg. Some of them return the hired car
after an hour leaving the car rental office with rather shacky legs... ;o)
