Yes, because if everybody could live where they wanted, doing the job they
wanted, for the pay they wanted, while buying things at the price they want
then the economy would simply cease to exist.

The economy would simply be all supply and now demand.

No, not at all.

Rather, the price of education, dry cleaning, law enforcement, and fire
protection would all go up until:
1) You pay these people enough to offset the cost of their commute
2) You pay these people enough that they can afford to live in your area
3) These services become so expensive that people start leaving you area,
causing the cost of living to fall.......

I simply believe that it is very easy for every man in this country to say
"I am not paid enough."

Thus, I believe that there is only one to verify that statement - if you
really are not paid enough, go and get another job.
