That last statement is irrelevant. They are members of the Israeli armed forces, and as such a legitimate target. Being a soldier is not a 9-to-5 job, it is a 24/7 job -- especially when your country is waging war. > It certainly would be wrong to characterize the attacks as only on > civilians. To be accurate, one should say, instead, that the attacks > are mostly on civilians who are simply going about their daily lives, > with the overwhelming majority of deaths being civilian deaths. > > Now that's been said, let me ask again, why do you side with the group > that is deliberately targeting unarmed civilians for their most > serious attacks? I am siding with the Palestinians because in this conflict *they* are the ones that live under occupation and oppression, not the Israeli's. Why are you (plural) siding with the group that keeps an entire population under occupation and oppression and does not seem to understand why those people fight back with everything they got? And, for the umpteenth time (but probably only to see it ignored for the umpteenth time), I do NOT, I repeat: do NOT support attacks on civilians. I do not support Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilians, and I do not support Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians. How many times do I have to repeat that before you (plural) will accept that, instead of ignoring it so you can continue to suggest that I support attacks on civilians?
