No, but you *can* find The Netherlands on a map. The Netherlands *is* listed
in the CIA World Factbook. Other countries *have* diplomatic and economical
relations with The Netherlands. The Netherlands *is* listed as a UN Member
State. All this not so for "Palestine".

They do, but the rest of the world does not. I can claim that the Dutch
province of Noord-Brabant is not really a Dutch province but a sovereign
country that is occupied by The Netherlands. I might even be able to find
people who would agree with that. It would not mean, however, that the
sovereign country of Noord-Brabant really exists.

But how many of them claim that the sovereign country of Palestine exists? I
know of only one: you. For most of them, Palestine is a region (not a
country) in the Middle East that for at least two millenia has been the home
of the people known as Palestinians.

So, all this complaining about "indefensible borders" is nonsense, then. No
matter what the borders are, Israel will be able to win such a war. IOW,
even the 1948 borders are defensible borders.

Your agreement with me is greatly appreciated. :-)
