Well, most lists these days are set for posting only by subscribers.
That particular bit of spam-blocking didn't count as undesired
moderation in his book. Such advertisers are incapable of
self-moderation, it seems, and that was what His Brinness was after --
people conversing civilly without having to have all posts screened, or
people prevented from participating.
