The whole process was surprisingly easy once I got a few things into my
head. I had read a book titled "How to Stop Smoking the Easy Way" by Allen
Carr. I was extremely skeptical when it was suggested to me but I read it
anyway. I have tried to quit many times, but this time, it was truly easy to
do.
He essentailly points out a few things in his book. The first is that the
cigarette industry has been brainwashing everyone into thinking that
quitting smoking is a horrible experience, and that it will always be a
struggle. The second thing is that he convinced me I was giving up nothing.
I did not even need to finish the book, I just set a date and quit. He made
many other points that made so much sense, that if one understood what he
was saying, you would have to quit, and would actually enjoy it.

It is inconcieveable to me that I could ever put another one of those filthy
things into my mouth again.
I would be willing to discuss this with anyone offline who is wanting to
quit, but is afraid of failing.
