However, I don't lie when my wife askes me how she looks in something. She knows she can count on me for the truth. But, I don't say "That looks terrible on you." Rather, I say, personally, I prefer outfit X or Y to that one. It doesn't give a false impression, but doesn't attack either. Dan M.
