Heh. sendmail is a mess. I abandoned it long ago. It seems overwhelming at first, with so many options. But it really isn't bad at all. Run make xconfig, the defaults are pretty good, so if you don't know what a given option means just accept the defaults, and change only the things you know about or want to change.
