Then you have never seen my desktop computer (NT 4 Workstation) I have at
work. I had to re-install everything because it crashed repeatedly, even
when doing something as simple as adjusting the sound volume (never found
out the reason why, BTW).

In the last twelve months, I have seen several NT servers crash for no
apparent reason; the quick-and-dirty solution was to turn off the machine
and then turn it on again. The techies who are supposed to come up with a
more structural solution are still trying to figure out the cause of the
crashes.

I will admit that NT is far more stable than Win98 (let alone Win95), but
"Windows NT never crashes" is, well, not correct.
