Actually, a friend of mine had a friend visiting from France, and
condemned America as a whole because of what was on Jerry Springer.

But that's beside the point.  Creeps like the KKK are now condemned by
the American government, and if someone acting in an official government
capacity did something *today* as discriminatory as what was done in
Norway, there'd be action taken to distance the government as a whole
from the discriminatory action.  Probably some temporary reassignment of
duty, as well.  Has the Norwegian government taken any action like
that?  (I can't find anything on the web to answer that question; I
can't read Norwegian, and I haven't found anything on any English site
I've checked to look for more info on this.  If anyone else can come up
with more on this, I'd be grateful.)
