This must be one of the most disgusting things I have ever read on this 
list. War is something that always results in tremendous amount of pain and 
suffering on all sides (not to mention the effect it tends to have on the 
economies of the parties involved); the fact that you consider war 
preferable over peace makes me want to throw up.

There is already a war waging in the Middle East: Israel vs. the 
Palestinians. How is that preferable to peace?

If you want even more war in the region, it is almost certainly going to be 
a front of the various Arab states joined against Israel -- in which case 
the sheer force of numbers could very well lead to the total destruction of 
Israel.

I hope that if and when that war you want breaks out, someone will put you 
on the first plane to the front line -- because only then will you realise 
how utterly horrible and wrong your suggestion is.

Has there not been enough suffering yet in the Middle East? Do you really 
want to see even more people (Arabs *and* Jews) maimed or killed, more 
infrastructure destroyed? Because that is exactly what will happen when 
that war you advocate breaks out.
