Let me offer a possible explanation here.

Over the years, people have repeatedly said Jeroen holds a twisted world
view and does not see there are actually many dire consequences of the
positions he advocates and the things he says.  Personally, I think that
is still the case. Considering any and all criticism of something he
loves dearly (his ideas) to be "bashing" and not seeing it as legitimate
criticism fits that profile perfectly.

Note that Jeroen repeatedly and gratuitously makes comparisons between
what he opposes and the Nazis, even when any reasonable person would
realize that such a comparison will only obscure the issue at hand.

Also note that Jeroen launches attacks on America, similar to some
things the Nazis did, but considers *that* to be legitimate and not
evil.
